Wet–flow meters are a type of devices for measuring and accounting for the flow of cold water.
Like other meters, wet-running water meters read and record the number of revolutions made by the impeller under the incoming water pressure, but these devices have a number of design differences.
In the wet runner, the impeller is directly connected to the counting board, which is also washed with water during operation. Due to this, the data obtained is more accurate, especially in case of violation of the magnetic field of the device.
Due to the design features, wet-flow meters are installed exclusively on a cold pipeline. Since the counting mechanism comes into contact with water during operation, it is recommended to install meters in places where there is access to water without impurities and suspended particles, which may later settle on the walls of the device.
Modifications: WRC-15, WRC-20, WRC-25, WRC-32, WRC-40, WRC-50, modifications with pulse output.
